RESPECTING ALL PEOPLE AND ALL CULTURES
We believe that meaningful consultation and ongoing communications with citizens, governments, and all stakeholders are keys to building and operating successful energy infrastructure. These collaborative relationships and communications enable us to promote economic prosperity, all while building safe, environmentally responsible infrastructure and helping to foster America’s energy independence.
OUR VALUES AND PRINCIPLES
We are committed to operating our business in a manner that honors and respects all people and the communities in which we do business. The following core values and principles guide our engagement with those affected by the company’s operations:
We will engage with all stakeholders that are affected by our projects.
We will be respectful and considerate of all people and communities by communicating clear, timely, and accurate information.
We will listen to and consider stakeholder issues and concerns in making decisions regarding our projects.
We will follow the rule of law.
We believe in supporting American jobs and manufacturing. Buying American-made products is a top priority as stated in our Procurement Guidelines:
“It is the intent of Energy Transfer Partners for its capital projects that a priority be given to the procurement of any component of the projects to be manufactured by U.S. registered companies located within the borders of the U.S. and using U.S. employees. Matters of cost, item availability and project schedule will be the key factors in evaluating if U.S. materials can be selected for the project. With that discretion given to the project and procurement teams, a weight is to be given to a ‘Buy American’ approach.”
